As been stated many times in the past, senior fall may be one of the most stressful times you will experience in your high school career. With all of the challenging classes you take, you also have to worry about completing your college applications, essays, supplemental essays, maintaining a social life, and maintaining your mental health. Here are a few quotes from the current seniors on advice for senior fall:
“Classes go on, and so does life. Just keep up with everything the best you can and don’t stress over anything you can’t control. It’s all going to work out fine.”
“This is a tough year either way, so just accept it.”
“Do your essays on time.”
“It’s like a merry-go-round except it’s on fire, but you can’t put it out, so just try to enjoy the ride.”
“Do your supplements on time; do your essay over the summer; you’ll regret not doing it in the fall.”
“Ask teachers to read your work.”
“Be careful not to bash schools because someone else might be applying to them and might actually like them.”
You should put in your best effort when it comes to your college essays and your classes, but it is also imperative to remember this is your last year of high school. Therefore, remember that you shouldn’t stress yourself out too much. Maintaining excellent grades for college are important, but remember to enjoy your last year with your friends before it is your time to graduate.
