Hi, my name is Nia Forbes. I’m a current junior at GFA, and I’m a Co-Editor of the Beachside Press. I joined the Beachside Press because I believe in the power of the press. I believe that the press is able to foster community, influence readers, and spark conversation. One thing I enjoy about being a part of the team is that people in the press really want to be here. It's different from an English class in which you’re told what to write and graded on your ability to craft great works. Articles that are published are created because writers have interests that they’d like to share. 

If you want to know a little more about me, my go‑to karaoke song is Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, and a fun fact about me is that I have a 12-hour playlist.

Hi, my name is Isabella Grimm, or Izzy for short. I am currently a Junior at GFA, and am excited to be a Co-Editor alongside Nia for the Beachside Press. I joined the Beachside Press because, since freshman year, I have had so much fun writing articles for the GFA newspaper and collaborating with other writers, which is one of my favorite things about being a part of the newspaper. I believe the newspaper is for students to express their ideas about student life at GFA and to explore their creativity through writing, photography, and anything else they wish to add to make it more engaging.

Hello, my name is Giselle Bauer, and I am currently a junior at GFA. I work as a Manager for Beachside Press, primarily in Athletics and Graphic Design, but also briefly in other groups. I joined the Beachside Press because I've been at GFA since middle school and remember reading it as a kid and loving it. I was also very excited to learn about the opportunity to express more specific aspects of GFA and demonstrate the true authenticity of the community we've created here. A fun fact about me is that I am a member of the Harbor Blues, a GFA all-female acapella group!
