In GFA’s fall musical production of Little Shop of Horrors, we follow Seymour Krelborn’s life as a florist working in Mushnik’s failing Flower Shop as he encounters a peculiar Venus fly trap that speaks. Hoping to keep the business afloat, Seymour resorts to keeping Audrey II, the blood-devouring venus-fly trap, alive by committing heinous crimes such as killing other people to feed the plant’s insatiable appetite. While falling in love with his female coworker, Audrey, Seymour must decide between maintaining his newfound fame from the plant or his friends and budding romance.
Our very own Head of School, Bob Whelan, made a special vocal appearance in the beginning of the show as the narrator. Throughout the numerous amount of rehearsals and the infamous tech week, the cast still put on three amazing and wonderful shows! Congratulations to everyone involved with the production of this show!
